I was born on April 2, 1983. God blessed me with two wonderful parents Jimmy and Janice Russell of Ecru, MS. I also have a beautiful wife Marley Russell of the Pine Grove Community. We are expecting our first baby in April of this year.
As a young man, I strayed away from the ways my parents taught me and God tried to lead me. In 2003 and 2004, I went through some trials in my life and I m so thankful that God works all things together for good, to them that love Him.
Even though it was hard times in my life, I wouldn t trade anything for the saving knowledge through Jesus that I now have. In March 2005, on a Friday night, I asked Jesus in my heart and He saved me. Hallelujah!
He changed my heart and my desires and now I do everything to live for Him. In September 2005, I surrendered to the ministry/ preach. In the beginning, I was youth minister at Martin Baptist Church in New Albany, MS.
Now, we are so thankful that God called us to be here at Tremont First Baptist Church. We could not do it without Him. We have seen souls saved, lives changed, and are excited about what God is going to do.
